The European Capital of Sport 2017, Marseille, has decided Le Tour de France in a battle against the watch.

A beautiful stage was designed by the organization with start and finish line in the Orange Velodrome Stadium. More than 20 kms by the most touristic streets of Marseille: Prado beach, Notredame de Lagarde and Vieux Port.

The British Chris Froome kept the Yellow Jersey in a top class race where Uran and Bardet could not do anything against the leader.

A delegation of ACES Europe were in Marseille for this amazing day and the president Mr. Lupattelli shared the awards ceremony with local authorities.

“Marseille has done and will done an extraordinary work in 2017. They are showing to the whole world how the city is involved with sport. Not only with the big events, also with sport for all and as integration in the city” said Mr. Lupattelli.
