High success of the 1st edition ACES Video Awards won by Rende

The 1st edition of the ACES Video Awards, the ACES Italia award conceived to enhance the multimedia communication of Italian municipalities in the creation of promotional videos for candidacy, took place last 7th October, at the Sala dello Sferisterio in Macerata.

The awards ceremony was held as part of the eleventh edition of OVERTIME Festival – National Festival of Tales, Ethics and Sports Journalism, organized by the Pindaro Cultural Association in collaboration with the Marche Region, Municipality of Macerata and University of Macerata.

The ACES format awarded the best sports promotion videos produced by the cities nominated for Aces awards. This first edition saw in competition 19 videos made by cities, communities and regions: Bursto Arsizio, Castano Primo, Catanzaro, Cernusco sul Naviglio, Codogno, Fondi, Genoa, Grottaglie, Macerata, Marcon, Monte di Procida, Motta di Livenza, Region Piemonte, Rende, Sabaudia, Schio, Spinea, Valdichiana Senese, Mont Blanc Valley.

The absolute Video Award ACES 2021 went to the Municipality of Rende (VIDEO). A further eight prizes were awarded to the following Municipalities: Project idea award: Municipality of Schio (VIDEO) Prize for inclusion and promotion of fair play: Municipality of Macerata (VIDEO) Project creativity award: Piedmont Region (VIDEO) Innovation Award of Message Communication: Valdichiana Senese Community (VIDEO) and Municipality of Castano Primo (VIDEO) Award for link with the socio-cultural and territorial context: Municipality of Monte di Procida (VIDEO) Promotion of the values of sporting activity award: Valle del Monte Bianco Community (VIDEO) – Municipality of Motta di Livenza (VIDEO) Award relating to the values of sport: Municipality of Schio Emotional impact award: Municipality of Macerata
