Success of the 2020 Gala from Lisbon

The European Capital of Sport 2021, Lisbon, hosted the ACES Europe Awards Gala on December 11, due to the impossibility of being held this year due to the pandemic in the European Parliament (Brussels).

26 cities collected their award virtually in an online connection with the winner cities all around the world. A different but very exciting ceremony that ended with the delivery of the flag and silver plate to Lisbon, the new European Capital of Sport 2021, thus picking up the baton of Malaga 2020.

During 2021 this ceremony will be held in person.
