Donation of sport goods to Quelimane

In a significant move to bolster sports at the grassroots level, Manuel de Araújo, the Mayor of Quelimane, has spearheaded the distribution of sports equipment across the city’s seven Urban Administrative Posts on March 17th.

This initiative, part of the African City of Sport Project and supported by the Spanish Federation and ACES, aims to revitalize local sports.

Araújo emphasized the quality and originality of the gear, expressing hope that it would elevate the competitive spirit among athletes. The event concluded at the Icidua Urban Administrative Post, marking a significant step towards nurturing Quelimane’s sporting talent.
