The municipality of Ganja has applied as European City of Sport 2019. It is the first city in the country who has presented its candidature for the title.
After the visit of Evaluation Commission, the jury is very positive with the bid in where they checked the sport facilities, the new investments and how Ganja flight for this recognition in order to encourage people to practice sport if they finally get it.
