Madrid has announced the achievement as World Capital of Sport 2022. Congratulations!!!

From Abu Dhabi, Guadalajara and now the Capital of Spain. Madrid becomes in the first european city which recives this title.

‘Obtaining the title of World Capital of Sport fills us with great enthusiasm because such recognition would serve to provide that definitive boost to the project that we are currently carrying out to modernise sports management’ said Sofia Miranda Delegated Councillor for Sport in Madrid.
