Sofia presents the candidature for World Capital of Sport 2024

The worldwide title developed by ACES Europe 3 years ago is getting more and more interest from the cities and the last to apply for World Capital of Sport was Sofia (Bulgaria) for the year 2024.

The Lady Mayor Ms. Fandankova  presents officially the bid in a press conference and received in person Mr. Lupattelli, president and founder of ACES Europe, who visited Sofia with the MEP Andrey Kovatchev.

‘Sofía did an exemplary work as European Capital of Sport in 2018 and I am convinced that the candidature they have for 2024 is strong and very beneficial for all citizens of the city. 3 years ago they increased from 100K participants to 1 million due to the title and this is an epic achievement’ said Mr. Lupattelli.
