The Italian city of Naples and the Spanish city of Zaragoza are, to date, the two candidates for the title of European Capital of Sport for the year 2026. The closure of applications ends on March 30th.
The evaluation visits will take place after the summer, knowing at the end of the year the city that will hold the title of European Capital of Sport 2026, after Tallinn 2025, Genoa 2024 and Glasgow 2023.
