Monaco 2025 World Capital of Sport shines during the 9th Rallye Princesse Charlène
Monaco, recently designated as World Capital of Sport 2025, took center stage once again during the 9th edition of the Rallye Princesse Charlène, held on April 2nd. The event brought together nearly 400 students from the Principality’s three secondary schools—Collège Charles III, François d’Assise-Nicolas Barré, and Lycée Rainier III—for a day dedicated to sport, solidarity, and peace.
The event was graced by the presence of Her Serene Highness Princess Charlène of Monaco, who actively participated in several activities throughout the day. She attended one of the scheduled conferences, joined a drawing workshop, helped select the winning illustration, presented awards to the participants, and took part in a group photo holding the symbolic #WhiteCard, supporting the global campaign led by Peace and Sport.
In alignment with Monaco’s commitment as World Capital of Sport 2025, all students and accompanying staff wore T-shirts proudly displaying the official logo of the title. This visibility underlines Monaco’s dedication to promoting values of inclusion, education, and peace through sport.
The event received significant media coverage from national and international outlets, including the Fondation Princesse Charlène de Monaco, Monaco-Matin, Monaco Tribune, and Monaco Info, further amplifying the message of peace through sport.
