Lisbon closes its year

Lisbon celebrated its closing ceremony as European Capital of Sport 2021 last Saturday, December 18th, with the popular San Silvestre of the city and sport show lasting an hour and a half where the authorities thanked ACES Europe and its president Lupattelli for the extraordinary year and the opportunity to carry such a prestigious award.

“Lisbon has been an example of how sport has made us better and has served in times of pandemic as an essential prevention tool in people’s daily lives,” said the President and Founder of ACES Europe.

Now it will be The Hague who picks up the baton of Lisbon as the European Capital of Sport 2022.
