Guinness World Records in Sisak (Croatia) European City of Sport 2019
In the City of Sisak (Croatia) Croatia’s Budimir Šobat was holding his breath for an amazing 24 mins 37.36 secs and became: Longest Breath Hold – Guinness World Records. He was training for three years to achieve this extraordinary record. His motivation was to additionally promote diving and pool sports, but also the City of Sisak, which was damaged on December 29, 2020 with very strong earthquake of 6,2 Richter magnitude.
In addition to the above, the whole event had a humanitarian part to raise funds for the reconstruction of the Miracle Room of the Association of Persons with Disabilities of Sisak-Moslavina County, whose premises were also destroyed by the December earthquake.
