EUAPPTIVE Challenge 2025 presented at ACES Gala Ceremony in Brussels

ACES highlighted the EUAPPTIVE project at its 25th-anniversary ACES Awards Gala that took place on December 12 in the European Parliament in Brussels. EUAPPTIVE project, funded by Erasmus+ EU program, focuses on promoting physical activity and active aging through innovative research and ICT tools. 

The event in Brussels gathered more than 50 awarded cities and high representatives of European Commission, European Parliament, UNESCO and other partners of ACES Europe. During the event the Sport Innovation Hub, Lead Partner of EUAPPTIVE project, introduced the EUAPPTIVE initiative and invited all awarded cities to participate in the EUAPPTIVE Challenge 2025 aimed at fostering healthier communities.

The Challenge  2025 will start in June 2025 targeting all the citizens, elderly population in particular. It will last for 16 weeks with the main focus on  active time (hours), distance walked or cycled (km), progress of the participants (%), CO2 saved (tons) and self perception (RPE), more information about EAUPPTIVE project at: https://euapptive.eu/
