Closing the year at International Conference NGO-UNESCO

From December 17 to 19, the ACES Delegation, as an Official UNESCO Partner, took part in the International Conference NGO-UNESCO held in Paris. This biennial event serves as a platform for NGOs worldwide to reflect on their achievements, outline future programs, and elect the new UNESCO NGO Liaison Committee.

The conference, hosted in the Aula Magna of UNESCO’s iconic headquarters, featured prominent speakers, including Stefania Giannini, Gabriela Ramos, Mohamed Elfarnawany, Julia Heiss, Julien Pellaux, Zazie Schafer, Adina Trunk, Begoña Lasagabaster, and H.E. Christina Kokkinakis, Permanent Representative of the European Union to the OECD and UNESCO.

During the event, ACES Delegate Alessio Di Maio had the opportunity to connect with Svetlomira  (in the picture), recently elected as the new Chairwoman of the UNESCO NGO Liaison Office, reflecting ACES’ ongoing commitment to fostering global partnerships for education and sport.
