Agreement with FEMP

ACES has signed a new cooperation agreement with the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) during FITUR, at the stand of Torrejón de Ardoz, reinforcing ACES’ work in supporting local sport policies and recognising cities committed to health, inclusion and quality of life through sport.

This agreement represents a further step in consolidating the role of ACES and its international recognition programmes, strengthening collaboration with one of the most important municipal associations in Spain, which represents local governments across the country.

The partnership with FEMP aligns with other strategic cooperation agreements signed by ACES with major municipalist and local government networks, such as the Union of Ibero-American Municipalists (UIM), United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) and ANCI, among others, further strengthening ACES’ international positioning and its commitment to promoting sport as a key tool for sustainable urban development.

Through this agreement, ACES and FEMP will work together to support municipalities, share good practices and promote initiatives that place sport and physical activity at the heart of local public policies.
