ACES participates in the 126th UN Tourism Executive Council in Toledo

ACES took part in the 126th Executive Council of UN Tourism, held in Toledo, Spain. Representing the organization, ACES Secretary General Hugo Alonso attended the event together with Gonzalo Cuesta, ACES Coordinator for the Americas.

During the council, the ACES delegation held several meetings with representatives of future candidate cities interested in applying for ACES awards and recognitions. In addition, productive discussions were conducted with UN Tourism executives and affiliated members, reflecting ACES Europe’s active role as an affiliated member of the organization.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen international cooperation, promote the values of sport and active lifestyles, and further develop partnerships with cities and institutions from around the world.
