ACES and UIM strengthen cooperation to promote sport across a network of 4,000 Cities

During Internatoinal Tourisim Fair (FITUR) in Madrid, Presidents of ACES and the Union of Ibero-American Municipalists (UIM) have formally signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement, marking a new milestone in their shared commitment to promote sport, physical activity and social cohesion at local level.

The agreement reinforces institutional collaboration between both organisations and opens new opportunities to work jointly with a network representing more than 4,000 cities across Ibero-America, strengthening the role of sport as a driver of well-being, inclusion and sustainable urban development.

This partnership represents a significant step forward in ACES’ international strategy, expanding its cooperation with key municipal networks and further consolidating sport as a strategic tool for local governments worldwide.
