Last October 11th Marseille, European Capital of Sport 2017, hosted the Awards Ceremony of the European Week of Sport. In an beautiful ceremony at the Orange Velodrome Stadium the EU Commissioner Tibor Navracsics lead the ceremony.

Before the event, the Mayor of Marseille recived EU Commisiosner and President of ACES Europe, Gian F. Lupattelli, in an official reception at the City Hall. Mr. Gaudin talked about the big succes of the Euroepan Capital of Sport in the city which is getting bigger and bigger in terms of active people due to the award and sport policies.

“Marseille is doing an extraordinary work and is an example for the coming capitals” said Mr. Lupattelli.

During the 2 days event in Marseille EU Commission gave the great numbers of the 3rd EWoS’ edition with all partners and National Coordinators Bodies.
