A delegation from ACES Europe, including ACES board member Mr Vincenzo Lupattelli, has started their visit in Bulgaria today by participating in the opening press conference of the European Youth Cup (Bouldering), which will take place this weekend in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Some 270 elite climbers from 26 countries will participate in the competition, which is part of the legacy of the project of Sofia – European capital of sport 2018.
The chairman of the board of the Bulgarian Mountaineering and Climbing Federation, Mr Petko Totev expressed special thanks for the help of ACES Europe’s award for the organisation of this tournament in Sofia for a third consecutive year.
The ACES Europe delegation is in Bulgaria to evaluate two candidates for titles for 2020. These are Pazardzhik, candidate for European City of Sport, and Kavarna, candidate for European Town of Sport.
